On-line High School Biology Labs
If I get enough interest, I will develop online high school science labs with hands-on activities using a kit I supply.  I'm using the Inspire Charter School High School Biology requirements as a guide to create a yearlong biology class.  I'd love to talk with you to get your feedback and that of your supervising teacher, to ensure we cover the required material.

Registration for this 8-week high school biology class opens on Monday, August 3.

  2. Grade level
  3. Class Day/Time
  4. Your phone number
  5. Charter school name (e.g., Clarksville, Cottonwood, Horizon, Visions, etc.) or if you will be privately paying for the class

Class fee:  $128 for 8 weeks.   Do not order vouchers yet until I confirm this class is a go.

Monday, 9-10 a.m.
Monday, 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
Monday, 12:30-1:30 p.m.

  • ​​Class starts the week of September 14 and ends the week of November 2.
  • Kits will be available for pick up at my home in Rescue from Sept. 8-12 and a pickup day (TBD) in Placerville.  Please bring your kids so I can say "Hi!" in person (and from a safe distance)! ​ I'll send you my address early September.  If you will be picking up supplies from FLA, feel free to pick up your biology kit from my home that day, too.  Given the complexity of some of the labs, I may need to provide 2 kits with 2 pickup dates. 
  • I am a vendor for the local Inspire schools, Visions, Horizons, and American River Charter School. Contact me if you are with South Sutter or Pacific Charter Institute (Heritage Peak, Sutter Peak, Rio Valley, Valley View).  You can find me in your charter school ordering system as  either "Lisa Hindmarsh" or "Hands-On Science".  I also accept cash/check/Venmo/PayPal, too.   Payment is due by September 12 or before picking up the kit at my home in Rescue.
